Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer

Forgot to mention one of a few "funny" things that transpired this past season...not so comical to a "young one" though, one who is now 4. JK has wanted to be Rulolph for quite some time. So, needless to say, she was Rudolph for Halloween. (Her parents slipped her another reindeer-red-blinking-Rudolph nose at a local park, as it was lost while bolting out of the tornado-like-Santa Ana-wind-rain ,w/children in-tow, to an eco-car). Loving such said nose, she would wear it everywhere.
Just as I would wear a new pair of shoes to bed as a child, JK wore her red-blinking nose everywhere. She would blink when she ate, played, and run away from her little brother. And, she wore all of her brightness to a store some of us frequent...just for the "deals". She wore it proudly and received many complements from little old ladies and got glances from gleeful toddlers. Finally, sleepily she was lifted into the cart where she used a few "borrowed" items to use as a pillow, the glowing globe grew dark as a sleepy babe sunk into her pillow.
